Everyone just wants one fucking thing to solve all their fucking problems. They don't wanna diet, exercise, work hard, learn a skill, make a living, find a partner, raise children, get a job, contribute to society, get therapy, work on their social skills, work on their depression, put time into their projects, consider the actual reason for their problems, lose weight, create a social life, meet new people, spend time with their family, etc. etc. etc. etc.

They just want to find one thing that'll just... Magically solve everything.

Superfoods, weed, telling everyone on the internet that fat is actually beautiful, anti-work forums like r/antiwork, handing their children an iphone and telling them to go play their game because they're busy, HRT being seen as some miracle drug that'll cure your depression and make everyone love you, complaining about issues that have literally nothing to do with you as an individual because your hivemind mentality makes you think if something bad happens to someone who identifies similarly to you it hurts you too, blaming politicians like Trump and Biden, blaming everyone else, cutting off friends instead of talking issues out, complaining about "society" and "capitalism" being why they can't make a living, taking sides in violent and deadly wars in other countries trying to use "I support x/y" as a lazy worthless means of somehow turning "I support a country slaughtering people" into "I am a good person because I'm supporting what Twitter users and celebrities told me is the GOOD country slaughtering the BAD people" and violently attacking anyone who disagrees with them or dares say they're not actually in support and are just saying they are to get goodboy points by agreeing with the latest celebrity everyone is simping for.

Nobody wants to live their life anymore. Nobody wants to put in the effort to actually come across as a good human being who contributes to society in any meaningful way. Everyone wants to get rich quick with as little effort as possible, which is why "Tiktok Star" is currently the most popular career choice for children in our education system and why content farms on YouTube are so overwhelmingly huge.

Bandwagons, trends, get rich quick schemes, lazy virtue signaling with the actual manpower of turning your corporate logo rainbow colored for pride month, putting symbols and labels and logos in your Twitter profile as though somehow you're contributing anything meaningful to a cause by just saying that you are.

We're in an age where nobody wants to actually lift a finger to do anything meaningful with their life or work to better themselves.

Everyone just wants to sit there and wait for the next social media announcement of the new superdrug trend that's sweeping the nation that'll take all your depression away, suck your dick clean off and make everyone love you.
